Border design – getting it right! 

Garden border design is a great way to give structure and impact to the look and feel of a garden. Many clients, who have had their gardens built and landscaped (by other landscapers) come to us requesting a design for the following reasons:

  • plants have been added to the wrong type of soil
  • plants have been positioned in the wrong location
  • plants chosen as part of the border design are unable to deal with the conditions resulting in unhappy, wilting plants
  • the current planting borders are tired and need refreshing
  • the current planting borders in your new property just isn’t to your liking

Unfortunately, not all landscapers know their plants – even if they say that they do! Whilst they can demonstrate their expertise at hard landscaping your garden, the end result can be under whelming due to a lack lustre border design.

  • A team of people who will remove your current planting scheme, prepare and improve the soil ready for your new plants and position and plant up for you
  • Provide guidance on how to look after your new plants
  • Install irrigation, if required
  • Install lighting, if required

The design fee starts from £500 plus VAT and during our discussions with you, we will cover how you would like your borders to feel, look and smell. Our aim is to leave you with a garden that makes your face light up, throughout the seasons.
