Corbetts avenue garden design, executed by The Essex Garden Co

The clients for this project came to us with a very specific brief. They wanted us to create a landscape design that was a calming sensory environment; that felt inclusive for one of their children with autism.

The challenge was balancing a functional and low-maintenance entertaining space, alongside a welcoming and engaging environment for their kids.

Our garden designer has executed a thoughtfully designed space, that reflects the families desire for year-round outdoor living. We’re incredibly proud that they trusted us to landscape design their garden and bring their vision to life.

This landscape design, incorporated textured grasses, fragrant jasmine and a gentle rain curtain to help soothe the senses. The rain curtain is also connected to an integrated irrigation system.

We also introduced soft resin pathways underfoot and decorative screens to create a visually cohesive setting.

The couple also wanted to incorporate a swim spa. This fitted the brief very nicely as gentle movement of water adds another sensory element. Not only does it stunning, it also encourages the family to play outside and spend quality time together.

The lighting on this project is beautiful, highlighting the walkways, planting and entertaining area.
