In house garden design

Chingford, Essex – £80k
This project proved to be one of our most challenging due to the amount of rain that we had to deal with in November 2022. Landscaping this Chingford garden design was one of our largest transformations due to the sheer size of the plot and amount of rubble we had to clear.
Main features:
- Porcelain paving
- Porcelain plank paving
- Bullnose steps
- Coping and cladding
- Sleeper borders
- Astro turf
- Turf
- Lighting
- Fencing
This garden design was tiered due to the gradient nature of the landscape. At the rear of the garden, a concrete base was used as the base for a large outbuilding. This was to be erected at a later date with composite decking.
An Astro pitch was laid in the middle of the garden as a play area for the children and was framed by sleepers on two sides. On the fenced side, a beautiful Portuguese Laurel hedge was planted.
The steps which led down to the planting borders and turf, served as a guide to the outdoor kitchen area under a made to measure oak pergola. The beautiful bullnose steps flowed to the main seating area which enhanced the luxury feel our Essex gardeners had set out to achieve.
The wall was cladded with the same paving as the lower tier. However, we felt that the area under the pergola, and the planks for the pathway, would look more striking if we incorporated a material change of wood effect porcelain.
Despite the elemental forces going against us, we were ecstatic with the overall landscaped result of this beautiful garden. We are and always will remain very proud of this build.
