Exceptional landscaping meets bespoke garden design…

Chingford, Essex – £80k plus

This was one of our most challenging projects due to the amount of rain that we had to deal with in November 2022. The landscaping of this garden design in Chingford was one of our largest transformations due to the size of the plot and the amount we had to clear.

The garden design was tiered due to the gradient nature of the landscape. At the rear of the garden, a concrete base was used as the base for a large outbuilding to be erected at a later date and composite decking. An Astro pitch was laid in the middle of the garden as a play area for the children which was framed by sleepers on two sides and planting of a Portuguese Laurel hedge on the fenced side.

The steps, which led down to the planting borders and turf, guided you through to an outdoor kitchen area under a made to measure oak pergola. The beautiful bullnose steps down to the main seating area and enhance the luxury feel our Essex gardeners had set out to achieve.

The wall is cladded with the same paving as the lower tier. However, we felt that the area under the pergola, and the planks for the pathway, would look more striking if we incorporated a material change of wood effect porcelain.

Despite the elemental forces going against us, we were ecstatic with the overall landscaped result of this beautiful garden and remain very proud of this build.
