The scenery around this property was stunning and the client was keen to have a garden design that complimented the landscape beyond their boundary line. They also requested an entertaining area that would work all year round and easy to maintain hard landscaping and low maintenance planting.

Ben, who manages the landscaping team and who is one of our business partners’ proposal to use a mixture of sandstone paving from The Landscape Centre and gravel with the slabs as stepping stones, was very effective, as it broke up the pathway to the main seating area.

On both sides of the garden double raised borders were built in order for our client to be able to sit and prune the plants. The fencing supplied by, The Garden Trellis Company, was of outstanding quality and served as the perfect barrier as it didn’t compromise the view.

Camen (our Joiner) made the solid oak pergola and the customers were thrilled. It had to be a certain size and his usual rigorous attention to detail ensured that every inch of the wooden pergola structure was perfect.

The lighting and heating were also crucial aspects of this garden design as year-round functionality of this new outdoor space was a must. Warren (our electrician) installed a wireless system that controlled the lighting from anywhere in the house and specialist heaters were fitted for chillier evenings.
