It was a pleasure building this garden for Darren and his children. Darren contacted us to create a low maintenance garden design for them to enjoy.

The brief was to create a low maintenance garden that encompassed no turf, plenty of privacy and ample locations for family and friends to sit and enjoy the garden and their time together.

The garden was on a slope so before any landscaping could take place, we had to level it and create a flat surface. Two L shape borders were built which were cladded in a contrasting colour to the paving. The coping stones then matched the floor paving which offered plenty of space to sit, as well as a new dining table which is currently being built. All materials were sourced by our supplier at Arbour Landscape Solutions.

Full standard Magnolia trees were planted at the bottom of the garden and up-lit to give ambient lighting in the evening.

In the borders a mixture of Evergreens and Perennials were planted, which will look great all year round and enhance the modern look and feel of this garden.
