We were originally called in to relay the turf in the rear garden and improve the planting to the front driveway. However, after closer inspection, the paving, cladding and copings of their rear garden was poorly built and movement was occurring, despite being recently laid. As a result, replacement paving was also added to the project brief.

The layout of the main paving area worked for our clients so we decided to keep the majority the same. It would have incurred a greater cost if steps and levels were moved, so we stripped the current paving, cladding and copings, rebuilt some of the damaged block work and built new planters on both sides.

Following on from the site visit and survey, we suggested to our clients that we build another seating area half way up the garden, on the right, as this is where most of the sunlight came through. We designed a porcelain plank walk-way through the beautiful trees, that were already there, and created new planting borders along either side, which complemented the overall design really well.

The Marley Sand paving which are beautiful 1200x600mm slabs from @LowerBarnFarm have been used not only on the ground but also as the cladding and copings for the planters. An additional seating area was created and adds to the elegance of this garden. The stylish furniture with items come from @MazeLiving.

The planting for this project, was large, and to ensure year-round interest we chose a mixture of evergreen and perennials. The front garden planting is more structured, with feature spiral trees and lollipop half standard trees underplanted with ferns.

Irrigation was added, together with the most beautiful lighting design that can be seen in more detail from the YouTube video.
